Ariana Grande's new album Sweetener Information

With only four days left to go until the release of Ariana Grande's new album Sweetener , fans can barely contain their excitement, least of all Ari's biggest fan, fiancé Pete Davidson. Unlike his fellow Arianators, Pete has already gotten to listen to the entire album well ahead of its August 17 release date. This past weekend, he helped hype up his fiancée's fans even more when she posted a video on Instagram in which he describes his favorite songs on Sweetener's track list. Topping Pete's ranking is " God Is a Woman ," which he lauds in a string of hilarious, NSFW accolades (SFW version: "It slaps hard, dude!"). This should come as no surprise to anyone keeping an eye on the comments of Ariana's Instagram posts — when the song's video dropped last month, Pete wrote, "YUM YUM YUM," followed by a series of heart emojis that perfectly coordinated with the video's vibe.

Death Cab for Cutie's Album INformation

When Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard was in his 20s, his songs chronicled the awkward strivings of youth: finding yourself, falling in love, learning to navigate physical and emotional distances in relationships. In his 30s, the stories evolved to address that decade's destabilizing forces — failed marriages, derailed dreams, atrophied friendships — while still putting to good use the wisdom that comes with a young lifetime's worth of mistakes and triumphs. Thank You For Today comes out August 17 via Atlantic Records. Thank You for Today is Death Cab's ninth album, and at 42, Gibbard's point of view has shifted again. If 2015's Kintsugi documented the sullen aftermath of a painful divorce, this record is here to tunefully chronicle the wistful aftermath of the aftermath: an attempt to return to the life you once knew, only to find that it's changed shape while you weren't looking.

Mac Miller Album Reviews And Cover Information

when Ariana Grande left Mac Miller this spring, he lost a relationship, a collaborator, and muse. Miller’s 2016 effort The Divine Feminine was recorded closely with Grande and doubled as a love letter to the woman he’d hitched his star to. He’s gone from “you and me against the world” to just “me against the world,” and as much as he tries to convince himself that’s almost as good on his warm but wounded fifth album, Swimming, he knows it’s not. At its lightest, Swimming plays a little like Mac Miller’s own Forgetting Sarah Marshall, an amiable account of involuntary bachelorhood. “I know I probably need to do better, fuck whoever, keep my shit together,” he ambles over an aloof beat on “ Smaller Worlds .” On “What’s the Use,” he shrugs off his foibles over some buoyant roller-disco, accompanied by low-key vocal assists from Snoop Dogg and Thundercat. Miller’s flow is limber and self-deprecating; he tries any pattern of singing or rapping that might lift his spirits for a few seconds...
