Nas Nasir new age album
Opening track “Not For Radio,” featuring Puff Daddy and 070 Shake, appears to sample film composer Basil Poledouris. (He is credited as composer and lyricist on the track.) Poledouris is best known for scoring films like Conan the Barbarian (1982), RoboCop (1987), and more. “Cops Shot the Kid,” featuring Kanye West, samples Richard Pryor and Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story.” “Bonjour” features Tony Williams and samples R.D. Burman’s Indian score from the 1977 film Mukti. “everything” features Kanye and The-Dream. “Adam and Eve” also features The-Dream, as well as Kourosh Yaghmaei’s “Gole Yakh.”
